You may remember when we reported that the amateur (ish) made viral trailer Mortal Kombat rebirth was getting its own full series. Well I’m excited to inform you that its already here, episode 1 is now online and you can watch it below.
The original viral footage caused a storm across the web when it was released in Summer 2010, prompting rumours of a new Mortal Kombat film, as it turned out it was the vision of Kevin Tancharoen a dancer, choreographer, producer and now Director and how he envisioned the game on the big screen.
The concept was snapped up by Warner bros and will feature 9 short live action sequences showing the background on a number of the Mortal Kombat contestants and their motivations for participating in the Outworld tournament.
Mortal Kombat Legacy stars Micaheal Jai White as Jax, Jeri Ryan as Sonia and Darren Shahlavi as Kano.
